your warm smile

the sparkle in your green eyes
in the afternoon sun

the wine
and
the bread
and
the music

the Vogelgat
and
the Kalahari

the coffees
and
the teas

the camping
and
the Old Brown Sherry

the oystercatchers

so, there is still you

in all those fond memories

in all those laughs archived in time

in all the times I think of you

my life is definitely better because you are still in it
